Xiaomi’s second-gen selfie-focused smartphone, the Redmi Y2 (starts at Rs 9,999), is all set to go on sale for the first time in India today. The Elder Scrolls VI Alongside all of the above, Bethesda also announced the next installment in The Elder Scrolls franchise – The Elder Scrolls VI. The company released an ultra-short 36-second teaser that both excited and disappointed fans in equal measure. The trailer showed off a beautiful, mountainous terrain and a stylized Elder Scrolls VI logo, and pretty much nothing else. We don’t even know the exact title at this stage, so there’s certainly no further details, including a possible ETA or the platforms it will be coming to....

It was recently reported that Fortnite might soon arrive on theNintendo Switch, after leaving an indelible mark on the PC, console and mobile platform. While such reports have been making rounds of the rumor mill for quite some time, a recently leaked presentation document more or less confirmed that Nintendo will officially confirm Fortnite’s arrival on the Switch at its E3 conference. Renowned American singer, Chance The Rapper, has now added more fuel to the reports by tweeting a cryptic message which says,“Fortnite on Switch tmw”....

As part of its initiative to bring fast, stable and secure internet connections to citizens in tier-2 and tier-3 cities in the country, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) says it is planning to expand its ‘Public Open Wi-Fi’ project by installing a further 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the country in time for its official launch next month. The DoT is presently running 600 such access points as part of a pilot that’s been running over the past several weeks....

The 24th edition of E3 is in full swing right now, and one of the game development studios which captured the limelight yesterday was Bethesda. At the Bethesda E3 Showcase, the studio teased the upcoming games currently in development, namely Starfield and the Elder Scrolls VI, in addition to revealing Fallout 76. It’s also bringing the hugely popular Fallout Shelter toPS4 and Nintendo Switch. At the event,Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls Blades, an iOS and Android game that promises to bring console-grade graphics, a rich storyline, and an overall immersive gameplay unlike any other mobile title....

The company also released a gameplay trailer and a ton of new info about the game, revealing that most of the rumors over the past few weeks have been absolutely spot on. The game will be the earliest prequel in the series, and will feature a less apocalyptic world than what one has come to expect from the franchise. According to the presentation by Bethesda’s game director, Todd Howard, Fallout 76 will be an online-only multiplayer game that will have a single-player aspect to it, but the best experience will be reserved for the multi-player mode that will involve cooperating with fellow players to take down monsters and fend off hostile enemy....
