Six US senators have written to Google CEO Sundar Pichai asking about the tech giant’s reported plan to create a censored Chinese version of its search engine. According to the letter, Google’s project is “deeply troubling and risks making Google complicit in human rights abuses” in China. Media reports surfaced last week that Google is planning acensored search enginefor China. According to The Information, the company is also developing a news-aggregation app for use in China that will comply with the country’s censorship laws....

Players can legitimately ride rockets in Fortnite, but its battle royale rivalPUBG, now also apparently allows players to ride smoke grenades. However, it’s not a new feature that you’re yet to encounter during your PUBG sessions, but rather a glitch that seems to have crept into the game with thelatest test patchthat revamped bullet penetration and more. Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Monday said that its component supplier Holitech Technology will invest $200 million (nearly 1,400 crore) to set up a manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh that could generate 6,000 jobs in three years. “Xiaomi has witnessed significant growth in the country and we are positive that Holitech’s plans for India will set a new motion in place for the electronics manufacturing industry in India,” said Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India....

Apple, despite the low sales of the iPhone X, has become the first company to reach amarket cap of $1 trillion. Now, the company is all set to launch the next generation of iPhones, and rumors have already suggested that there will be a trio of iPhones launching this fall. There will be a total of three iPhones, a 6.1-inch LCD variant as well as 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models.
