Samsung finally launched the much-anticipatedGalaxy Note 9flagship smartphone at its signature ‘Unpacked’ launch event last week. I know, the device looks and feels a lot like its predecessor,the Galaxy Note 8, and can be mistaken for just a refresh but that’s not the case here. Samsung subsidiary Harman has launched the JBL “Xtreme 2” wireless Bluetooth speaker in India for Rs 21,999, which would compete against high-end portable speakers in the Indian market. The device, which is available in black, green and blue colours, comes with powerful audio performance, up to 15 hours of playtime and an IPX7 rating for weather-proofing. Besides the water resistance, another USP is the speaker’s built-in rechargeable 10,000mAh Li-ion battery that supports up to 15 hours of playback, according to the company....

Creating a manual backup of your WhatsApp chats as well as the media you’ve sent or received used to be a hassle back in the early days of the messaging app. But with its evolution, WhatsApp added support for automatic and routinely backup via Google Drive, iCloud, and OneDrive for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices. Now, giving Android an edge over other two operating systems, WhatsApp has partnered with Google, allowing users to back up their chats and media on Google Drive without worrying about running out of free storage....
